Hi! I’m Nina and I’m delighted that you’re visiting my website!
I offer business support that helps busy working mamas to focus more on their starting coaching business or course creation and to set up processes and systems that make their life easier so that they’ll have more time to spend with their kids. My biggest passion is to help them grow and scale their businesses.
Why One Lucky Star?
As a high-school introvert, I found more interesting watching the starts at night and dreaming about me changing the world and having an impact on other people’s lives.
When I was in college, I wanted to pursue an international career, my dream was to work for one of the European Union’s Institutions. But, at the same time, I was dreaming to have a beautiful family, a caring husband to love me for who I really am and 2 beautiful kids: a boy and a girl. After college, I got a master’s degree in public administration in Spain and then I worked for the government in my country for almost 5 years. After 2 years working as a civil servant I went to Brussels for a traineeship at the European Commission. Since my husband did not want to live our country, Romania, I came back because I was almost 30 and I still wanted to have my 2 kids – this was a non-negotiable for me. My family dream came true: I now have a 9yo boy and a 7yo girl and a beautiful husband. I feel so blessed – they are one of the reasons that helped me decide to start this journey.
I was a stay-at-home mom for more than 5 years and once the kids were a little grown up, I began to wish to do some meaningful work and to use my brain. It was then, for the first time in my life, when I worked with a career coach. Her help was precious and this is how I started to volunteer for an online adult education NGO, then I worked for a German consultant living in the same city as a project assistant and then I helped a friend promoting her jewelry store on Facebook – all these jobs were only preparing me for what was going to happen next. Suddenly my husband lost his corporate job and after a few months, we moved into a different city where I found a 9-5 job that I found terribly disappointing. After 9 days I quit it and I started looking for opportunities to work from home, I felt that I was wasting my time and that there were greater things for me to accomplish. This is how I discovered that being an online service provider is a real thing. My desire was to offer my help to online entrepreneurs (especially mompreneurs, since I understand their reality) while I enjoy more freedom and more time spent with my family. Having an admin background was really useful and being a self-taught person wanting to become a better version of myself, I started offering online services for coaches and course creators. My first year was a year where I tested, experimented and decided what I enjoyed most and I let go the things I thought are not helping me move forward.
I now realize that my desire of working in an international environment is actually connected with my desire of having a greater impact than working only at a national level.
So, today I work from the comfort of my home and I am here to help starting coaches and courses creators to grow and to scale businesses in order to free more of their time.
